Additional Info

Established in 2006, Durango Devo is a 501c3 non-profit organization. The mission of Durango Devo is to develop each individual, in a traditional team setting, into life-long cyclists. There are 900+ kids in the program, over 70 coaches and a group for every age, ability level, and interest. The organization is arranged in a building block style to increase interest in mountain biking and promote each athlete in a positive environment. Devo is split into 9 programs: Devo Push Bike, Devo Junior (this is split into 9 different groups from preschool-advanced 5th graders), Explorers Club, Devo Flyers gravity team, Devo Cyclocross (CX), Devo girls and boys U14, Devo girls and boys U19 and the Colorado High School League Teams of DHS and AHS. Durango Devo also conducts summer camps. All programs are led by a Devo trained and First Aid certified coach with the help of assistant coaches. #NFTF

In the USA, competitive cycling has been on the decline in recent years. We believe one possible solution to this problem is for kids who already love to ride their bikes to adopt cycling as a life sport and for them to become competitive. Therefore, we’re here to encourage and provide resources to young riders who may be interested in getting involved in this amazing sport. It is our goal to provide a complete solution with as much information as possible to help you decide which area of cycling suits you best and to give you the info you need to get you rolling.
